The impact of regulation on the private rents

The impact of regulation on the private rents

A report has just been released by Residential Landlords Association by Professor Michael Ball looking at the impact of regulation on the private rented sector:

The report has been written to inform and stimulate policy debate. While every effort has been made to ensure that the data and information are accurate, some errors may remain. In addition, it should be remembered that information in this field is variable in content and quality. The purpose of the report is to provide information, analysis and background regarding the UK’s housing market and private rented sector. It is neither intended for use in advertising and promotions, nor for market forecasting and investment decision purposes, and no liability is accepted in either regard.

The report looks at regulation, the burden, evaluation, cost and how it affects tenants and operative.
